These beautiful wild swimming scallops are harvested sustainably with next to zero bycatch in the waters off of Quadra Island just east of Campbell River. They are fished by a Vancouver island family who we couldn’t be happier to support. The Collier family harvests and sorts these scallops with the utmost care aboard their vessel: The Lisa Jess.
These swimming scallops are versatile and easy to prepare. They can be enjoyed barbecued, smoked, pan fried, steamed, or added to soups and chowders. We recommend substituting these scallops in place of mussels or clams in your next seafood boil!
