Caponata is one of Sicily’s essential dishes. It is a vegetarian eggplant antipasto almost like a relish. This dish is known for its blend of savoury, sweet and sour flavours. Best served at room temperature alongside a nice slice of bread. Pair it with a Fol Epi baguette to make a lovely appetizer.
