The Rock Bay Market was born out of a passion for connecting our community with locally-sourced, wild, seasonal and sustainable provisions. We believe that our resources should be consumed right here where they are harvested, driving our commitment to be the direct line between consumers and producers.

Featured Provisions
Preserves & Ferments
We are passionate about the ancient art of fermenting, pickling, and preserving foods. Working with nature’s wild yeasts and bacterium to store food at the pinnacle of freshness for the months to come. We source the best local seasonal ingredients for our preserves. Rock Bay Market Ferments also contain loads of healthy living probiotics to aid in digestion and boost your immune system. These living preserves should always be kept refrigerated.
Cultured Kombucha
Brewed on site in Rock Bay (Victoria, BC), we offer up to 9 flavours on tap everyday, including Rock Bay Market exclusive flavours featuring local and unique ingredients. Try a tasting flight, purchase in cans or fill up a reusable bottle. We also offer weekly, bi-weekly or monthly subscriptions for kombucha delivered right to your door!

Our goods are almost exclusively sourced and made here on Vancouver Island ourselves or through our network of food producers. Our focus is on local high-quality, seasonal and sustainable food production, harvesting and cooking.
We believe in supporting our local farmers, fermenters and fisherman while celebrating and enjoying the incredible bounty our island has to offer.
You can pick up your order at our central pickup location in Rock Bay, BC (2725 Rock Bay Ave), or choose delivery for direct at-home convenience.
We would like to acknowledge with respect that we harvest, cook, brew, and create on the traditional territories of the Lekwungen people, now known as the Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ First Nations. The Rock Bay Market serves to feature the abundance of the land now known as Vancouver Island and we owe that abundance to the communities that have cared for this land since time immemorial.
