Jan and Claudia, led by their passion bring us a varied collection worth slowing down to contemplate and let your senses & memories run wild! Perhaps you will discover a varietal that really hits you in all the right places! We fell for oolong, specifically a sub variety known as cliff tea. Cliff teas leave you feeling warm from its rich, roasted notes.. think toasted coconut!! They are are cozy and the perfect fodder for a daydream on a cold winter day! Discover your new favourite tea with teakan’s exploration kit!

5 single-origin teas (60g in total) from different regions.

All platters come with Chef's choice of three cheeses 🧀, 3 meats 🍖, a plethora of our house-made pickles 🥒, a fruit preserve, house mustard, and crackers. Include a locally made, live edge wooden board for serving. Orders that opt not to include a wooden board will be served in a pizza box.

Awa Bancha is an artisanal cold tea made from late-harvest tea leaves that have been lacto-fermented for 3-4 weeks in old cedar barrels (much like how soy sauce is made).⁠

The result is a pickled tea reminiscent of an infusion of kelp and hibiscus: devoid of bitterness, with a pleasant tart note and minerality.⁠
